"General Motors Corp.'s vice chairman for global product development Bob Lutz has called the Chevy Volt a game-changer, and the rest of the company shares his urgency to get the electric vehicle to market by late 2010. GM has more than 200 engineers and 50 designers working on the production model, with another 400 people working on subsystems and components. But the Volt isn't the only player on GM's bench." More
