"Prototype of Global Observer, the world's first long endurance, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on its maiden flight. Powered by eight, ironless-electric motors, it has a loiter speed of 110 knots and an intended cruising altitude of 65,000 feet. It's developer, AeroVironment, believes it can remain airborne for more than a week at a time, giving it the ability to loiter over fixed locations or be deployed over thousands of miles of airspace."
